I am so glad tomorrow is election day. I am so sick of all this political nonsense.
I am so sick of hearing about Obama (even though I feel bad his grandmother died today. I had kinda hoped she could hold out until at least after the results were in).
I'm sick of hearing about McCain and Palin.
I am sick of hearing about Prop 8 because that is the only one I have heard about at all, really! Although I think my anger at that is kinda misplaced due to the "Yes on Prop 8" people on the corner of Daycreek and Milliken (I swear to god, I'm going to kill one of their fucking kids if they come anywhere near my car again) and due to the fact that I wrote up this huge entry on Prop 4 (Waiting Period and Parental Notification Before Termination of Minor’s Pregnancy) and then lost it >.<
But I'm not sick of Biden 'cause he hasn't been all over the place as much as the other three.
On the bright side, I voted yes on Prop 1 ^.^ I know California doesn't have that kind of money... but I want that train so flippin' badly! Imagine, a high speed train from Los Angeles to San Francisco... It makes me all warm inside just thinking about it!
As a side note, DNA test show that the bones found up north were, indeed, Steve Fossett's. This depresses me on some level. I was pretty sure they were but part of me still hoped that maybe he was up there playing Bigfoot or something :-/
And apparently I was wrong about there not being much out there on Prop 4 (at least according to my mom) but seriously! The only thing's I've heard about have been Prop 8 and Prop 9 (the latter of the two I heard today for the first time). I suppose that's what I get for avoiding the TV and radio for the past however long.
Lastly, I'm making something super cute for
realmailxchange that I should probably have done tomorrow so I'll be posting pictures! ^.^
EDIT: I forgot to mention something I thought of while driving today. Everyone's entitled to the pursuit of happiness, but not many people seem so interested in the "pursuit" part. They seem to be more of the "Hand it to me on a silver platter" type. So many people act like they are entitled to everything they want but few seem to want to work for it. It's rather sad, really.
