After Anthrocon '08, I had planned not to go to a furry con again. Not that anything bad happened there, I had just always intended on it being my last one. But then Further Confusion came along with it's theme for next year: The California Gold Rush

Dear god, could they have picked something that calls to me even more?? How about the Roaring 20's in Los Angeles. Oh, sorry, Disney's already using that (and I'm still pissed they're taking down the Golden Gate at CaliAdventure!!!).

And I know it's just a theme. It's not like they're going to have panels on Furries in 1849 or how to pan for gold in your fursuit. But still! This promises to be something epic! Or it could fail miserably and cause me great tears of pain :-(

Anyways, I looked at the rates for the new hotel. Without whatever discount is given to us by signing up through the con, the rates come up to $507 for 3 nights, not counting the 10% tax that is added on.

Dude... I could go and stay San Francisco for less and go to Alcatraz with the money I saved which I would probably find much more interesting.

Yeah... but anyways, I guess I'll have to wait and see what kind of discount is given and see if I have the money. And then see if I have time. Yes, time might be an issue... But this is something I will have to look into ^.^
