I find it strangely comforting that if I ever wanted to cut myself off completely from the furry fandom, JP would follow me, no questions asked. Actually... he may ask why but that would be the extent of it. Anyways...
Things I happen to be afraid of: Tetanus, Staph infections, and Tuberculosis.
I'm also afraid of having someone stepping on my head and crushing my skull while sleeping and someone slashing my Achilles tendon (which actually might have stemmed from Stephen King's Pet Sematary. And that, kiddies, is why you don't read Stephen King at the young, innocent age of 9)
But yeah, back to Tuberculosis. Someone in a Chicago hospital was found to have it and a student at a local college here was found to have it. So even though it is highly unlikely that I could have it, I take great comfort in the fact that I'm getting my TB shot within the next 2 weeks. Along with a tetanus shot, which I am not looking forward to in the least. But it's better then having tetanus so I'm not going to complain too much about it.
I've had a constant headache since I hit my head two tuesday nights ago and I'm wondering if it could be something more serious then I had anticipated. I figure if it was going to kill me, though, it would have done so already. Nevertheless, I'm going to bring it up when I go in for my check-up thingie.
Today I discovered that it's typical for someone to stand out in front of a government building (DMV, Courthouse, Social Security, so on and so forth) and preach to the people standing in line about Jesus and God and all that fun stuff. At some point, while JP and I were in line, the guy said something along the lines of, "What are you going to do when Jesus comes back?" to which I was like, "I'm going to grab my auto-shotty, get an old guy, a black guy, and a biker and we're going to hole up in a room with a red door until we can think of a good strategy to get past Jesus and his minions."
It's a pity he didn't hear me. I would have loved to see his reaction. The lady 3 people down from us kinda chuckled, though.
Busy week again, just like it should be. And, of course, I'm looking forward to it, like usual ^.^
